A large number of truckers and supporting residents have reportedly been protesting vaccine mandates at the Emerson/Pembina border crossing.
Photos show semi-trailers decorated with signs fighting not only newly enforced vaccination mandates, but also the carbon tax, and censorship.
Early reports indicate the circle of slow-moving trucks and vehicles involved in the protest is several kilometres long and holding up traffic.

On Saturday, the federal vaccination mandate for truck drivers came into effect. The new rules required truck drivers to either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or face a two-week quarantine and PCR testing.
According to a number of reports, organizers plan to keep the protest going all day Monday and may even extend it into Tuesday if they can get enough trucks involved.
More to come.
