The top stories of September include Manitoba's first black MLAs, Benny Hinn renouncing prosperity Gospel, and a 10-year-old girl escapes an attempted abduction.
The associate pastor at Harvest Christian Fellowship dies by suicide at the age of 30 after a long fight with depression. Wilson is succeeded by his wife and sons.
Hinn announced a change to his theology as he says he no longer believes the message he used to preach when it comes to financial prosperity.
"I think it's an offence to the Lord, it's an offence to say give $1,000. I think it's an offence to the Holy Spirit to place a price on the Gospel. I'm done with it. I will never again ask you to give $1,000 or whatever amount because I think the Holy Ghost is just fed up with it ... I think it hurts the Gospel," Hinn says.
