While not a gospel album, faith is a clear component of a country icon's latest work.

Here on Earth is Tim McGraw's sixteenth full studio album, released in 2020. The artist, who is Christian, has never released a gospel album before, and his newest one is no exception. Despite the county categorization, many of the songs are clearly influenced by his faith, including tracks being added to the Ultimate Edition of Here on Earth.

"When we started dreaming up this project….we went in and recorded over 20 songs. So we’re gonna give you more!" the artist posts on Facebook.

"God Moves the Pen" is a new track gaining attention with its lyrics saying "Love moves the heart, God moves the pen."

Tracks such as "Neon Church" and "Hallelujahville" feature strong ties to the Christain community on the album's original release. Before the release of the new edition, McGraw's YouTube channel has removed "Neon Church" from their page. On Facebook Tuesday, a teaser has been posted.

"Neon Church” started a new chapter, and I wanted to make sure it was included in the full story of #HereOnEarth. Thanx to everyone who has supported these songs along the way!! Can’t wait for you to sit back and listen to the full experience," McGraw writes on Tuesday.

The artist and his wife Faith Hill are both Christians. McGraw previously played a role in and wrote music for The Shack. That same year they performed a Soul2Soul tour with artists like NeedToBreathe.
