RCMP is on the hunt for those responsible for multiple break-ins and thefts at three Steinbach area churches.

Police say that the Steinbach Christian Mennonite Church, First Baptist Church and Covenant Reformed Church were all victims of robberies.

On Monday, January 15, at approximately 9 AM, the Steinbach Christian Mennonite Church was broken into and a soundboard was stolen.

Then, according to RCMP, on January 16, the First Baptist Church was broken into overnight. Thieves took the Sunday offerings and caused damage inside the church.

On January 17, Steinbach RCMP received a report that the Covenant Reformed Church was also a part of the potential crime spree. The church did have surveillance cameras which captured the thief breaking into the church and rummaging through different areas.
