More than 2000 movie theatres across the globe will launch The Chosen's final two episodes of season three, including select theatres throughout Canada.

Episodes seven and eight will premiere on Thursday, February 2, and Friday, February 3. Participating theatres may add additional show dates and times if there is a high demand.

"Once we saw episodes seven and eight finished with the incredible music and the biggest story we’ve told yet, we all said this has to be on the big screen," says Director Dallas Jenkins. "And knowing what I know about some shocking twists, I cannot wait to see the fans respond in a room together."

Distributed through Fathom Events, each of the episodes will play at least twice per theatre over the course of two days. It is anticipated that additional run times will be discussed in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

Episodes seven and eight beautifully bring resolution to the season's plot of Simon and Eden facing their marital crisis while thousands of people gathering for Jesus begin to grow restless, that is, until a young boy brings five loaves and two fish.

Since first airing in 2017, The Chosen has received praise from critics and fans for its accuracy, historically and biblically, its lightheartedness, captivating drama, moments of laughter and powerful impact.

It's been translated into 62 languages, with more on the way.
