Billboard Music has named the Grammy-winning singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard as the Top Gospel Artist of the Decade.

This is also the third consecutive year that Billboard has named Cobbs the Top Female Gospel Artist.

"It’s such an honor to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world!" Cobbs posted to her Instagram recently.

She has been spreading her singing talents all over recently during the holiday season with two events. The first was on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network when she sang her version of 'The Christmas Song' with the artist Neyo. The second holiday event was Dolly Parton & Friends Christmas special when Cobbs sang 'O Holy Night'. That special aired on December 4 with the audio version available after December 11.

While 2020 has been a tough year in many regards, including singers who couldn't perform or tour due to the pandemic, Cobbs' talent has been on the rise. Her song 'Break Every Chain' received a Platinum certification.

She was also awarded Gospel Artist of the Year at the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards and Artist of the Year at the 35th Annual Stellar Awards.

"The year of 2020 has stretched us creatively. It’s taken us away from our norms. Many of us who were accustomed to constantly traveling for ministry have found creative ways to spread the gospel virtually," says Cobbs on her Instagram.

The Cobbs team has put together a one-hour virtual New Year's Eve worship encounter that is available for pastors or promoters, which will include her singing many singles.
