Two southeastern men are facing child pornography charges following reports made to the RCMP.

Acting on several complaints from the RCMP National Child Exploitation Crime Centre, the  Manitoba RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) began investigating two men, one from Stuartburn, and one from Steinbach.

ICE, the RCMP Digital Forensic Services Unit, and the Steinbach RCMP executed two search warrants, once on January 22, and one on January 27.

"The targets of the search warrants are unrelated, but are both connected to the complaints received by the ICE unit," RCMP Manitoba says.

On the 22nd, a 49-year-old Steinbach man was arrested and charged with Possess Child Pornography, Access Child Pornography, and Make Available Child Pornography.

On the 27th, a 24-year-old Stuartburn man was arrested and charged with Possess Child Pornography, Access Child Pornography, and Make Available Child Pornography.
