The province is labelling a COVID-19 exposure that occurred outside of school hours at a private school as low risk.

In a letter sent to parents, they say an individual on campus on September 14 and September 16 did not have direct contact with students.

The Winnipeg Reginal Health Authority says that the risk of exposure is extremely low.

"The School performs daily work to disinfect and sanitize school spaces using the product Peraspray. Door hardware and frequent touch surfaces are also sanitized throughout the day," Winnipeg Reginal Health Authority says in a letter to parents.

They say close contacts have been identified and contacted.
