After hearing from residents, the City of Winnipeg says they are allowing library patrons to access physical resources.

Library assets can be picked up and dropped off starting on December 7 in a similar fashion to how it was done in the spring.

Patrons cannot enter the library to browse.

Resource orders can be placed by using the library app or online.

The libraries that are pick up locations are:

  • Charleswood
  • Henderson
  • Louis Riel
  • Millennium
  • Pembina Trail
  • River Heights
  • Transcona
  • Sir William Stephenson
  • St. Boniface
  • St. James

They will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

"Customers will be asked to phone the library when they arrive to pick-up their holds. Staff and customers are required to wear a mask."

Those using the library services are asked to use the self-assessment checklist before arriving at the buildings to pick-up holds.

Digital resources continue to be offered.
