For those living in southern Manitoba, you can expect to see a lot of snow over the coming hours.

A snowfall warning has been in effect since this morning for southwestern Manitoba, including the Winkler area.

Environment Canada says that snowfall is expected across southernwestern Manitoba with up to 10 cm this evening falling, particularly near the Canada-US border. The heavy snow will change to flurries during the day on Tuesday.

If you're headed into or out of the city tonight, either rethink your travel plans or try to leave earlier to avoid the worst of it.
