The annual snow route parking ban begins soon. Residents are advised to know their zone and be mindful of the street signs.

The City of Winnipeg’s annual snow route parking ban begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Vehicles may not park on streets designated as snow routes between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Today the City of Winnipeg launched winnipeg.ca/snow – an online portal that features information on snow clearing and ice control operations.

“Winnipeggers will now have better access to City snow clearing, winter parking ban information and more,” Mayor Brian Bowman says.

“This new online tool will provide direct access to the status of winter operations and is another great example of the City’s ongoing efforts to making the most up to date information available to the public,” Mayor Bowman says.

The Annual Snow Route Parking Ban is in effect from December 1 to March 1.
