A dangerous incident has closed the Slaw Rebchuk bridge in both directions.

Update (2:40 p.m.) - The WPS say they are dealing with a female in distress. No more updates are available at this time. The bridge remains closed.

The Winnipeg Police Service tweeted out that a dangerous incident on the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge has forced them to close it in both directions. No word on when it will reopen, but the police say they are working with the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service to bring a safe resolution to the incident.

The Slaw Rebchuk Bridge connects Isabell Street to Salter Street over the CP Railway.
