A Canadian company is recalling some of its products due to undercooking.

Harvest Meats is recalling Harvest brand Polish Sausages. The product was sold in 675 gram packages and has the UPC code 0 57393 70017 8, and best before date 2021MR15. Consumers should not consume the recalled product. 

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled, the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.

The CFIA is verifying that the industry is removing the recalled product from the marketplace.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

Undercooked food may contain bacterial pathogens that can make you sick.

The CFIA says there have been no reported illnesses in relation to the product as of yet.

The product is sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Ontario, Saskatchewan.
