An early morning accident had shut down a busy intersection in Winnipeg Thursday morning.
Emergency crews responded to King Edward and Wellington.
Southbound traffic on Route 90 was being rerouted down Wellington. Meanwhile, westbound traffic on Wellington was down to one lane.
The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) says that two people were transported to hospital in stable condition.
The WPS is continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
The intersection has since been reopened.
