On October 13, emergency personal were called to an apartment in the 800 block of Main Street. Once they arrived at 9:25 a.m., they found a dead 24-year-old man.

Police say the 24-year-old was confronted by a male near the intersection of Salter Street and Burrows Avenue the day before. The suspect demanded the 24-year-old to give them his property, to which the victim obliged. The 24-year-old was then assaulted.

The victim died and was found in the residence the next day.

On Thursday the suspect was arrested and detained.
