With a clear sky Saturday night, the temperature is expected to dip near the freezing point across southern Manitoba.

Most of the southern region can expect a low near the 3 to 4 degree mark, while the Melita area is expecting it to cool off to +1 C.

We can then expect a few warmer nights before frost is expected to be a concern.

While some might say this is too early to consider overnight frost, Justin Oertel from the Manitoba Weather Centre says this is actually a normal time to expect overnight temperatures to dip low enough for frost.
