Authorities say a group of people who they believe were purchasing alcohol legally and selling it at a significant markup are now facing charges.

On Thursday night on Hudson Bay in Thompson, Manitoba, RCMP officers executed a search warrant. Arriving at 7:20 p.m. at the residence, officers seized 55 bottles of hard liquor and 10 cases of beer.

After obtaining a second search warrant for a Martin Bay residence, they found more evidence of illegal alcohol sales and 72 grams of marijuana, more than twice the legal limit for one person's personal use.

Two women aged 21 and 22, and two men aged 24 and 43, from Thompson are all facing charges.
