RCMP in Westman say that a suspect in a shooting is still on the loose.

RCMP from Carberry, Man. were called to the Brandon Hospital early Friday morning for a report that a 45-year-old male was admitted with gunshot injuries.

Police say they are looking for 36-year-old Nicholas Peters in relation to this shooting. He has been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless use of a firearm, and discharge firearm with intent

Peters is described as 6’ tall, 250 pounds, with brown hair, and hazel eyes. He is from Brandon, Manitoba. Police say they believe he may be in the Brandon and Shilo, Man. area.

He may be driving a white Dodge pick-up truck, with Manitoba licence plate number: KDX 716.
