Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias has received a grim prognosis on the progression of his cancer.

In a letter posted online, Zacharias' daughter and CEO of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) Sarah Davis shared an update on her father's condition.

Zacharias, his wife, and daughter Naomi are returning from Houston to their home in Atlanta for their family to be together "for whatever time the Lord gives us," Davis shared.

In an online post, Zacharias addressed his health while sharing he and his wife's 48th wedding anniversary.

"Our 48th wedding anniversary looked different than the others, but three things remain the same: our love for each other, the gift of family and friends who shower us with kindness, and the abiding faithfulness of our great God," says Zacharias.

Davis also shared their family's gratitude to the care, friendship, and love her father received by the medical teams at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he underwent treatment.
