One woman received the Order of Manitoba, the highest honour, for her support raising record-level funds for Manitoba's hospitals.

Tina Jones is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, as well as President of Banville & Jones Wine Co.

She is one of twelve Manitobans to receive the province's highest honour at an awards ceremony that is yet to be determined due to social distancing guidelines.

In receiving this award, Jones shares, "I feel like it's a dream come true. With all the work that we're doing, the special things that are going on in this community, especially this year, this award means a lot to many people."

She's been working with the HSC Foundation for seven years and has been the Chair of the Board for five.

"We've raised over $65 million in the last five years as we're working very closely with the hospital administration, the government, doctors, nurses, and professionals at HSC."
