The City of Winnipeg is inviting all Winnipeggers to attend an open house on the continuing renewal of Rose Hill Park.

Rose Hill Park is a vital part of the Inkster Gardens neighbourhood. The space is used by students from Meadows West School during the day and by the community at night.

"Rose Hill Park is an important neighbourhood destination where members of the community gather to visit with family and friends, enjoy nature and get active," said Councillor Mike Pagtakhan in a release.

A new playground was built in 2016 and the final stages include a fitness trail, shade structures and seating areas. Construction is expected to be completed later this year.

You can provide your input on Thursday, February 16 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Meadows West School. If you are unable to attend, you can provide your input online.
