The United States government will make an announcement on Wednesday with plans to reopen their land border crossings with Canada once again.
The U.S. closed its land crossings for non-essential travel in March 2020, and Canada did as well. U.S. citizens have been able to cross into Canada since August 2021 so long as they have proof of vaccination, and many Canadian and American politicians had been calling for the U.S. to do the same.
