Police still searching for second murder suspect believed 'armed and dangerous'

Police have arrested one man wanted for murder and are asking for public assistance to locate their second suspect.

A Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder has been issued for Evan Brightnose-Baker, 21, who is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Jesse Daher, 28, was arrested Saturday after an afternoon-long warrant execution by police at a residence on McGee Street in Winnipeg.

Brightnose-Baker is described as Indigenous, 5'5" in height and weighing about 126 pounds. He has a medium build, brown eyes, and is believed to have black hair.

Police are cautioning the public not to approach Brightnose-Baker. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call 911.
