Winnipeg police are trying to identify an elderly male victim who was attacked last month during a series of violent incidents between Mar. 29 and 31.
The man was last seen leaving in the direction of the Polo Park area after two suspects attempted to rob him around 4 p.m. on Mar. 31.
Investigators believe the elderly man had come from the walking bridge over Omand's Creek. The attempted robbery happened near Empress Street and Westway, just north of Portage Ave.
Police are asking for the victim or anyone who may know the victim to contact police.
