The Organized Crime Division has planned a public forum tonight, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre (430 Langside Street).

It's an evening to provide awareness to community members about a variety of issues, and the Winnipeg Police Service is hopeful that many will show up.

Among those in attendance will be police chief, Danny Smyth, as well as the Divisional Commander for the district.

Police will be presenting on gang awareness, as well as fentanyl and associated dangers.

Members of the police board will also be on hand to meet with the public and answer questions.
