Police in Winnipeg are hoping someone will come forward to help them solve who killed a man struck by a vehicle seven years ago.

On December 19, 2014, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Cody Joss, 21, was struck and killed by a motor vehicle.

Cody was walking northbound on Inkster Blvd. at McGregor St. when he was struck by a vehicle travelling westbound on Inkster Blvd. The involved vehicle fled the area prior to police arrival and Cody was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died as a result of those injuries.

The Winnipeg Police Service sent out renewed calls for help on the anniversary of Joss' death this week. Investigators are asking members of the public to review the details of this release and report any suspicions or information they believe could assist.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic Division. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
