Two-time Dove Award winner Phil Wickham is releasing his eighth album Hymn of Heaven on June 25.

The first single to be released from the album was 'Battle Belongs' back in September of 2020.

"Before the song was even out it had become a personal anthem for me in the middle of a very frustrating season. I would catch myself singing it day to day. Using the melody and lyrics to preach to my own soul that God was in control and on my side. It has been amazing watching that song becomes an anthem and encouragement for believers all around the world," says Wickham on Facebook.

The second single 'House of the Lord' was only released by Easter weekend in 2021, which Wickham describes as a 'joy bomb.'

"I wrote that song write in the middle of a season when I needed to remind my heart of the truth that though happiness comes and goes I can always find joy in the reality of who God is, what He has done, and who I am in Him," he says.

Wickham goes on to describe his fans comments from the second single, sharing it was a comeback song for many churches.

"What an honor to be a small part of those huge moments in people’s communities!!"

The third single, 'It's Always Been You', was a song close to Wickham's heart. Two days after releasing it, he received a message that someone felt the exact same way, to the point that they didn't commit suicide as previously planned.

"Each one of the 13 tracks carry weight and identity for me. I pray these songs have a lasting impact in people's lives as they go out into the world this week."
