It's a journey that started in the Philippines, and not one that Pastor Andy Capesinio could have ever imagined would have ended up in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Crossover International Church shares spaces with Blessings Church on College Avenue in Winnipeg.

The small church plant has already seen success according to Pastor Capesinio. "Seeing people transformed, getting baptized, and then they're serving, and they're passionate. To me, that's a success."

Capesinio is an experienced church planter, and it's been a journey that he's been on for the last 20 years. "It started back in the Philippines, when I was a kid, going to seminary. The Lord really told me to start church planting. And I didn't know that it would be here in Winnipeg. It's a long journey."

CHVN was there to celebrate with the church plant, and CHVN's Mike Thom preached in the morning service.
