The number of COVID-19 cases remains at 290 Wednesday, with four individuals currently hospitalized and one in intensive care.

Heading into the long weekend, Manitoba's Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Brent Roussin reminds residents heading camping or to the cabin to pack everything they need before embarking to avoid any stops along the way.

The key message remains the same: stay home if you're sick. "We can't have Manitobans out when they are ill. Don't go to work, don't go to school, certainly don't go to the cabin or the lake," Roussin says.

The Province is continuing to monitor 32 active cases, while 251 people have recovered from the virus. The number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at seven.

As of yesterday, an additional 527 laboratory tests were performed bringing the total number of tests performed since early February to 31,946.
