On Tuesday, January 30, the City of Winnipeg unveiled their official website for the upcoming 2018 Municipal and School Boards Election.

Eligible voters and candidates now have the opportunity to access all the information they require for the upcoming election in Winnipeg on October 24, 2018.

From this new website, you will find details on finding out if you are eligible to vote, how to cast a ballot, maps of city sections, details on how to run as a candidate, campaign expenses, signage, advance voting opportunities, and any other relevant legislation regarding the election. The City of Winnipeg states that the website will be updated continuously over the next ten month as more information becomes available.

Marc Lemoine, the Senior Election Official says "our goal is to provide as much information as early as possible so that potential candidates and the public understand the process of running for public office, and to help engage voters early in the process."
