Due to a second Montana low that swept through southern Manitoba on Wednesday afternoon and evening, multiple highways are closed for Thursday morning commuters.

Western Manitoba once again took the biggest hit and has many highways closed since Wednesday evening.

The following highways remain closed at this time:

  • Highway 5, from Roblin to Dauphin
  • Highway 10, from Cowan to Dauphin
  • Highway 10, from Moon Lake to Minnedosa
  • Highway 16, from Minnedosa to Highway 83
  • Highway 83, from Highway 16 to San Clara
  • Highway 276, from Ste. Rose to Manipogo
  • Highway 278, from Highway 68 to Highway 50

These highway closures are due to poor winter driving conditions, snow and partly covered roads.
