Several vehicle are involved in a Wednesday morning rush hour collision.

Callers to the radio station say it appears a westbound vehicle on the North Perimeter crossed the median and struck eastbound vehicles. The location is approximately 1 KM east of Pipeline Rd.

Emergency crews weren't on the scene as of 8:05 a.m. when witnesses called in. They said bystanders were climbing over mangled vehicles trying to get victims out of vehicles.

Eastbound traffic appears to be affected the most, but callers say that westbound traffic is also being slowed.

There is no word on the cause of the crash at this time. Motorists should avoid the area if possible, and be prepared for delays.

More to come.
