Dr. Charles Mully started his family 28 years ago and is excited to see his story make it to the big screen.

On October 4 and 12, Mully is coming to select theatres across Canada. It's the story of Dr. Mully, who went from a street kid to a millionaire, before founding Mully Children's Family and giving everything he had to orphan kids in Africa.

"It's great to have a movie that expresses the journey of saving children's lives," Mully said. "This is the journey the Lord God has [lead me to]."

It's a journey that started on November 17, 1989. It's a date Mully easily remembers. He felt sick at the office, so he went to drive home but ended up in a place he didn't expect. He had no idea what was happening.

"I started crying and crying and it was at that time I decided to follow God's call and vision of saving children's lives," Mully said.

Since then, he has tried to give children in Africa shelter, food, education, and a family full of love.

"I walked not by sight, I walked by faith," Mully said when asked if he thought it was going to be this big.He just followed his calling.

Mully considers it the 'biggest family in the world', with over 12,000 children helped. The 3256 he has in his family right now are very exctied about the movie and what it might do.

"It will bring a big impact in the hearts of people," Mully said. "I believe that many people who see this movie will be challenged to take a step of faith."

He hopes that step of faith will involve sponsoring or adopting a child.

A local Manitoba grandfather makes an apperance as well. Arvid Loewen, who has cycled many miles in support of Mully Children's Family, will be in the video, according to Mully.

Mully is in select theatres on October 4 and 12 only. Get your tickets online before they are gone.
