Missionfest Manitoba 2018 is over for another year.

Thousands of people came through the doors of Church of the Rock, and more than 120 mission agencies shared about the work they are doing.

The weekend-long event kicked off Friday evening at Church of the Rock, with Rev. Tom Caster and southern gospel group, Sound Foundation.

Meanwhile, youth and young adults packed My Church (formerly Immanuel Pentecostal Church) to worship together, and hear Barnabas Mam share his story of surviving the Killing Fields of Pol Pot.

Local band Bold As Lions opened the youth evening, and recent Covenant Award winners, Informants, lead worship and closed out the evening.

Dr. T. V. Thomas closed out the weekend on Sunday afternoon.

Organizers are already busy thinking about 2019.
