A worship leader that suffered a brain aneurysm this summer says her current 'mullet' hairstyle is a great reminder of God's faithfulness.

Hillsong's Chelsea Taylor was rushed to hospital in the middle of a worship service at Hillsong's flagship “Hills” campus in Sydney, Australia on August 18.

Taylor initially underwent a nine-hour surgery to deal with a ruptured brain aneurysm. Tens of thousands of people around the world flooded social media with prayers for her.

Though she did face some complications at times, friends and family described her recovery as miraculous.

This past week Taylor shared an update on Instagram encouraging others why may also be struggling.

"Just backed up my phone and found photos of me before I was blessed enough to receive a mullet. I’m actually super grateful for the mullet though! To me it’s a sign of God‘s faithfulness," Taylor says.

Taylor was released from hospital in the last week of September. Doctors have declared her healthy once again.

"Miracles still happen and if you’re still breathing then Gods not finished working in your life," Taylor says.

"And if your disappointment is real and painful, then as my beloved Pastor Bobbie says: 'stay the path' because He, the king of Heaven will prove himself faithful. It’s who He is and what He does, just because He’s awesome like that. There is no situation He cannot turn around for good and it’s Him who will always have the final word."
