From stuck snow trucks to shovelling four times a day, this winter storm is causing havoc across Winnipeg.

"It is very, very miserable weather," said Harjinder Poonia, standing outside his truck. "My truck is stuck in the intersection."

A system that called for 10 to 20 centimetres of snow has delivered, blanketing southern Manitoba in a wet, heavy snow. This has caused numerous incidents related to traffic, power, and all around general frustration.

"I saw three people stuck on the way here," said Aaron Pridham, who was on his way to work, and walked to The Forks. He noted that they were being helped, but a number of people got stuck on their own streets this morning, unable to come into work.

Candy Magnusson was outside bright and early this morning shovelling snow outside the Northwest Company, where she works. Magnusson suspects she'll end up coming outside three or four times throughout the day to clear away snow.

A snowfall warning remains in effect for southern Manitoba as of Monday afternoon. Snow is expected to completely stop by Monday night, with clear skies forecast for Tuesday.
