"Protect yourself, protect others, protect our healthcare workers... stay home," Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba's Chief Provincial Public Health Officer urges.

He notes the virus has been detected in all health regions. "You should assume the virus is in your community."

Roussin also clarifies that individuals must stay home especially when they experience mild symptoms.

"When we say "sick" we don't necessarily mean feeling horrible," Roussin explains. "It's any symptoms, we know people with this virus have presented with mild symptoms, sore throat, stuffy nose, cough."

If you have any symptoms at all, Roussin urges people to say home from work.

Cadham Provincial Laboratory performed 781 tests Monday. A total of 14,280 tests have been performed since early February.
