Public health officials are reporting one new case of COVID-19 in Manitoba Friday.

This brings the provincial total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases to 309.

Officials continue to monitor nine active cases in the province, while no one is reported in hospital or intensive care due to COVID-19. Data indicates 293 Manitobans have recovered from the novel coronavirus to-date, and the number of related deaths remains at seven.

Meanwhile, an additional 626 laboratory tests were performed Thursday in Manitoba, bringing the total number of tests performed since early February to 56,317.
