Partly covered roads and blowing snow are conditions drivers are facing Monday.

Highways north and west of Winnipeg are being reported as partly covered in snow, with many also experiencing slushy conditions and blowing snow. Inside the city, similar conditions are present.

"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance," Environment Canada says.

Freezing temperatures and snowfall could create ice throughout the drive.

The winter-like weather will continue until late Tuesday.
