A puppy is eating her words after discovering books are not chew toys.
The Winnipeg Public Library shared a letter to Twitter earlier this week from a dog who regrets destructing library property.
"My mommy wanted me to write you to say that I am sorry for ruining your book," the letter posted to Twitter reads.
The letter, accompanied by a photo of the sorrowful dog Luna, shares an apology for the ripped "In the Skin of a Lion" pages. Most of the book is intact, but the library's stamp, along with the first several pages, are torn.
"I learned that mommy can devour a book - but that doesn't mean I can do that too. This learning stuff is 'ruff!"
The library responded with understanding, saying "these things happen."
We understand, Luna. These things happen! pic.twitter.com/RriCUTAoTN
