Lauren Daigle wins an American Music Award

Lauren Daigle is the favourite artist in the Contemporary Inspirational category for the AMA's that took place this past weekend.

Thank you all so much for this honor and for your votes!!" posted Daigle to her Facebook after receiving the award. 

Daigle was the only female in the category as For King & Country and Kanye West were the two other nominees for the award. 

The awards show took place online on November 22, 2020, and includes categories for music genres pop/rock, country, rap/hip-hop, soul/r & b, and Latin.

Justin Beiber, who has been very vocal about his Christian faith as of late, took home the award for Best Male Artist in the Pop/Rock category.
