Patrik Laine scored his second goal of the game 1:18 into overtime to lift the Winnipeg Jets past the Calgary Flames 4-3 Thursday night at Bell MTS Place.

Kyle Connor had a goal and two assists for the Jets who rallied from a 3-1 first period deficit.

Mark Scheifele started the comeback as he beat Calgary netminder Jacob Markstrom just 34 seconds into the second period.

Connor’s power play goal tied the game at 3-3 with 4:56 left in the middle frame.

Matthew Tkachuk, Johnny Gaudreau and Elias Lindholm did the goal scoring for the Flames.

Winnipeg goaltender Connor Hellebuyck made 23 saves.

The Jets begin a three-game Ontario road trip on Monday when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs.
