From connection to competition, Kirk Cameron wants his new television show to be "a little bit of heaven on Earth."

The new series One on One is set to be on Trinity Broadcasting Network highlighting a different side of actor Cameron and his guests.

"When we get in a partnership with God, and we do things His way, we can solve the world's problems"

It began from longing "to make a show that was positive, that was hopeful, [and] that was refreshing," Cameron tells the Christian Post. "We can turn on the news or read our news feed through social media, and just everybody's fighting about something ..."

Viewers can watch fun, light-hearted games and listen to guests dive into topics like overcoming the struggles of growing up in the entertainment industry and fighting against human trafficking. Through faith-based conversations, he hopes the show will be a reminder "that when we get in a partnership with God, and we do things His way, we can solve the world's problems and we can bring people to a real relationship with God."

On the guest list are the Benham brothers, Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson, his former Growing Pains castmates Tracey Gold and Jeremy Miller, and his sister, Fuller House actress, Candance Cameron Bure.

Although airing on a Christian TV network, Cameron revealed that his guests don't all share the same beliefs. It was important to him to be able to focus not on their differences but on real relationships with all people. He believes it's "a message the world really needs to see on display during these times."
