Churchgoers were surprised with a sermon and performance from superstar Kanye West.

Newbirth Baptist Church in Atlanta, had quite a unique experience when Kanye West brought his well-known 'Sunday Service' to their church.

He performed many popular songs but added a gospel twist to the lyrics. According to reports, West revamped 'Father Stretch my Hands' and Ginuwine's 'So Anxious' during his multi-hour performance.

West reminded the congregation that all God asks for is radical obedience and that he's seen God work miracles in his own life.

Along with music, Kanye shared a mini-sermon encouraging bold faith, and reliance on God.

"The power of God can't be calculated by a number, by a first-week sale, by a bank account, by how many cars you drive, [or] by how big your house is," West told the congregation.

Along with the 600 churchgoers, it was a star-studded service with T.I., 2 Chainz, Nelly, and other artists in the room.

One attendee told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “I’ve gone to church all of my life, but this was something pretty unique."

Just last week Kanye brought his 'Sunday Service' to Chicago, and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

West's wife, Kim Kardashian-West, recently told The View, that these worship services are fueled from a relentless pursuit for God. She also says that West "is born again" and "saved by Christ."
