Sports fans in Winnipeg won't be forced to split their allegiance in early December when the Bombers host the CFL West Division Final and the Jets host the Leafs.

Originally the Winnipeg Jets were set to host the Toronto Maple Leafs at 6 p.m. in downtown Winnipeg on December 5. That was a disappointment to a lot of fans after the Bombers clinched the opportunity to host a home playoff game on the same date.

The football game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., meaning the puck drop would happen while the Bombers will stay playing for a spot in the Grey Cup.

The Jets and NHL announced on Tuesday that they have moved the start time to 7 p.m. The football game should end around 6:30 p.m.

For fans hoping to take in both games, the Bombers organization says that they will have a bus ready to take fans from IG Field downtown to Canada Life Centre.
