Think your street is the worst in Manitoba? You can help it claim that title by voting!

For the sixth year, CAA Manitoba has launced the Worst Roads campaign. The voting gives the public a chance to vote on the worst street based on a number of different factors, including traffic congestion, potholes and crumbling infrastructure, or pedestrian and cycling safety.

"Last year's campagin, the majority of those roads were or are slated to be fixed this year," Mayor Brian Bowman said. "We do pay attention and we do listen."

This year's campaign also includes a new feature: a most improved road designation.

"This campaign sometimes seems like it's about complaining," said Mike Mager, President and CEO of CAA Manitoba. "We also want to introduce something new this year, a way to Manitobans to highlight the hard work is being done on our infrastructure to improve it."

Mager said four or five roads on average come off the worst roads list every year, in part because of the campaign.

You can vote on CAA's website or on the CAA app. You can also choose a particular part of the road if you feel it is worse than the rest of it. Voting runs until midnight on April 18, 2017.
