Are the cold winters days making you long for summer? Maybe this weekends indoor farmer's market will be just the thing you need to keep you going until summer finally arrives.

On Sunday, February 12, Union Station will be host to a pop-up farmer's market. 45 vendors will be there, including two that will be participating in their first.

"I've been doing farmer's markets since 2008," Margo Malabar, coordinator for the event said. "I decided to start up and run a farmer's market on my own."

This market is just in time for Valentine's Day, making it perfect for grabbing your sweetheart a special present, including many locally made items. Of the many items there, you'll be able to find gluten-free treats (from Nosh On This), a torilla soup fiesta (from Stak Co) and food products made from red beets (from Dr. Beetroot Canada).

"[I did it to bring back] a little bit of summer and also because Valentine's Day is coming up," Malabar said. "There aren't many markets in February."
