An NFL athlete has decided to trust Jesus with his whole life and whole heart.

DeForest Buckner, recently signed as a defensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts, is currently one of the NFL's highest-paid in that position. After a career-highlight game last week, he posted another game-changing move online, sharing his decision to get baptized.

"Today I surrendered my whole self to Jesus and chose to trust Him with my life whole heartedly," Buckner shared in an Instagram post Tuesday.

"My walk with Christ is only beginning and I am grateful for the support surrounding my journey of Faith."

Buckner was baptized at Eagle Church with his wife, young son, and several Colts teammates present.
