The gospel is explodig across Asia right now according to experts, despite every effort to supress it.

By 2050, China is expected to hold the world's largest economy and roughly 36 per cent of the world's population lives in either China or India.

Joe Handley of Asian Access told Mission Network News that the world's largest continent has a critical role to play in the Great Commission. "This is Asia's hour for the Gospel. She is the continent that will be finishing the task of global evangelization."

Gospel growth and  momentum is building througout Asia. Handley said that "during the last two years we've seen a breakthrough like we haven't seen in the last 10 years of our ministry. There's enormous opportunity out there in some of the most challenging areas of the world."

They usually begin work in new countries approximately every four years but since 2016 Asian Access has started work in four new countries in Asia. Ancient walls are falling in places where Asian Access has worked for decades, and a new season for the Gospel is underway. Along with that, the Chinese government is putting more pressure on the Church but, according to Handley, Chinese Christians are refusing to back down and are wanting to send 20,000 missionaries by the year 2030 from China to other countries. Asian Access is ready to help in that task.

The Holy Spirit is moving hardened hearts in East Asia

"Japan, is one of the largest unreached people groups and it's been known as a 'missionary graveyard'" reports Handley. Things have begun to change back in 2011 after the Triple Threat Disaster. Handley goes on to say that the response rate to Christ since that disaster happened have been seven times greater than normal. As a result from the waves of disaster whether it's an earthquake or heatwave, there are high response rates to Christ's message of hope.

Mission Network News is asking to surround Asian believers and the ministry in prayer. Prayer for continued growth and open doors. Handley hopes to expand the work of Asian Access to 20 nations by the year 2020. Pakistan is on the horizon as well as Malaysia and Thailand. "We are desperate for your prayers, the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few, Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send forth labourers, and if He's calling you, please come." he said.
