North Korea is set to experience the love of Jesus thanks to radio technology.

A massive radio signal broadcasting the message of Christ's love will soon cover the communist country.

Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC), who has been using radio signals for evangelism for 75 years, will use 250,000 watts to air an AM station across North Korea, according to CBN News. The company has 149 stations broadcasting programming in 107 languages across 49 countries.

FEBC President Ed Cannon says the new "super station" will be located near the border of North and South Korea, a few miles away from the demilitarized zone.

"It's a perfect location because the signal goes across the ocean for a few miles and then goes right into North Korea."

The South Korea location of the station will allow for gospel programs to air across the border into the communist country. Programming will be produced by individuals from South Korea, as well as several North Korea escapees to allow for content to feel locally curated.

Cannon says the signal will not be blockable by North Korea and will reach to cover the entire country "with the message of Jesus Christ."

"Our goal in North Korea is the same as it is in all of our other countries: to share the gospel through radio so that people will be inspired to follow Jesus Christ as their Savior," said Cannon.

According to Open Doors USA's World Watch List, North Korea has remained the most dangerous country for Christians for the past 18 consecutive years. Believers in the country, if discovered, face serious persecution for their faith in the form of deportation to labour camps and even death.
